Acura relased images of the 2018 RLX, which I didnt know they were bothering to redesign, because why not?
And...yea heres the back. Honestly though no one buys these things.
Meanwhile, you can find a used one that’s 3 years old, like this one with 55 thousand miles for right under 22 grand. I wouldn’t get one new, but its a fantastic used buy

The Outlander Sport even has Sport in its name, so there’s that.

“Redesign.”
It’s still the same car just with new lights.

I call this new Acura face “negative beak.”
Nobody liked the bottle opener, beak grill, so they literally just cut a big hole where it used to be and stuck a badge in the middle.
Negative beak.

And a new grille that brings it in line with the 18' TLX. Still a Japanese Buick Lucerne. Theres a reason why the RLX doesnt get mentioned along with 7 Series,S Class, A8, hell even with G90.

Its what it should have been in the beginning.

2018 Acura RLX: If It Had A Ford Badge You Guys Would Love It

If it had a Ford badge it would be a Taurus. And it would still suck.

I saw one out in the wild for the first time ever yesterday. Didnt even look twice

Damn , that is one ugly car.

Same here. Ive only ever seen one once and it was being driven by someones grandfather/a close to retirement doctor. I only looked because I had never seen one before. And they’ve been on sale since 2014.

Outside gets a redesign and the interior is still this:
$55,000 and the Accord has a better interior.

Exactly. Im wondering why it even still exists in the first place. Its a weird in between-er like the CT6 that doesn’t sell well.

IMHO you should say its like an XTS. The CT6 is at least a well done effort. RWD, on its own platform, twin turbo V6, autonomous drive, etc.

True. But I meant CT6 in the sense that no one pays attention to it. The XTS actually sells, and outsells the CT6.

I can’t understand why it looks like a subcompact version of the TLX and not a larger version of it.

Every luxury non German automaker under the sun copied them. All their cars are pretty much cookie cutters of the cars above and below them. Less family resemblance and more cookie cutter like I said.

Oh yeah, I agree. I still can differentiate it from a TLX but what happened here is that I look at the TLX as being larger than this RLX. This doesn’t happen with the germans.

yeah! When I first saw the photos I thought it was a new ILX
